Late getting dark I heard a noise, I my mom and I got scared because a cat and we went to look out the window. When we saw two people. we called the police. they said they were on their way to my house. We went down the stairs and checked it. They were looking for something.  My mother and I were so scared we decided to stay locked in the house. It was so dark outside, we could not see anything. My mother was so desperate, that we called the police again; she was going to have a heart attack. When I saw them I realized it was my uncle and my aunt. The police got mad because my call. My uncle and my aunt were looking for their wallet, and my mother and I were very ashamed. Submitted by Sirleia	If I were in charge I would play music in classes. I would visit theaters and other students would have access to the pool or swimming lessons. We would have interclass championships between handball, futsal and basketball. When we went to see what was happening, we were scared, because a man was shouting at the police officer. I ran to my room, but my mother kept it locked. The man was a burglar and he was jumping the wall. There were many people watching it and a woman was taking a photo with her camera. The office police arrested the burglar. When we got back to the living room, we saw that my grandma was eating popcorn and she was looking for something. My grandma was looking for us, because she was scared about the police cars and she thought it was too dangerous.  Antônio 8º ano
It was late in the evening. My friend and I were ready to sleep, when we heard a very strange sound coming from the bathroom door. We were scared and afraid of being something dangerous, and we did not see what was in fact.  We waited until the sound came back again, but the sound did not pass. We waited till someone helps us. When we figure out what was happening, we realized that no one would come to save us, so we created the courage to see what it was.  So we went out and when we got there it was my brother who was taking a shower. Last week, three friends and I were at my house and we were playing video games until one of my friends got sick, he was so sick we went downstairs and called the ambulance, minutes later they arrived there. We were surprised with the speed they came to us, they asked to talk to my father who had arrived during the incident, and they talked for about ten minutes. The attendants saw my friend and took him to the hospital. He had to be hospitalized for the rest of his night. On the other day we were all fine with it but when my two friends and I got to the hospital taken by my father, we received the news that my friend would have died after a surgery. It was very shocking for us. His parents said that the funeral was two o'clock that day; we went to my house and got surprised. My friend was playing video game. He looked smiling at us and said, we will continue the match? A joke in a very bad taste. We kept playing and talking about how it had been planned. That day was crazy. DAVI 8º ANO	That night, my brother and I were watching a horror movie in my room, it was dark, and I was not seeing anything. Then we heard a noise that was coming from the garage, we were afraid of it. We would not call the police because they could think it bizarre and it would to be a joke in a bad taste. Then we sat on the bed too scared. We waited ten minutes until we got up the courage when I ended up grabbing a flashlight to go to the garage , my brother told me not to go to the garage. As I am stubborn, I went there. Arriving at the garage a fear hit me, and my courage just went out, so I went in walking slowly and suddenly, I heard a noise coming from behind the car of my father, and then I went to see what it was. When I got there it was a cat scratching the garbage looking for food. I ended up falling about laughing, my brother after few minutes came to see why it was happening. He couldn’t stop laughing too. Isabela 8º ano	Last night, I was using the computer in my room and I was totally distracted. My mother and my dad were out, and I was alone. Suddenly I heard noises of doors opening, and I got scared, and I stayed in my room. The person started up the stairs and I decided to hide in the bathroom, I was looking the window of the bathroom, and I saw a man, but I didn’t see her face. He turned off the lamp, and I saw nothing. He was coming near. When he opened the door of the bathroom, I started crying, and I sat down on the floor, He opened the door. He was looking for me and He turned on the lamp. I saw my dad laughing, so I stopped crying, and started laughing. My mom was laughing too, and after we went to dinner, we turned to laugh. Last night, Guga and I were watching a DVD in my rooms. Suddenly, we heard a loud noise. It was coming from the yard. We saw a man, and Guga thought it was a burglar!    He screamed, and I called the police. We were scared. It was very dark. The man was looking for something. The man was still there when the police arrived. When we saw his face, we realized it was my dad. My dad was looking for his keys. Guga and I were laughing, but the police weren’t laughing. The police were angry! MATHEUS E RICKSON 8º ANO	Last night my friend and I were in Gabriel’s house. It was 18:00 when we decided to go shopping. We asked our mother if we could go, she said only later we could go to the movie to watch a comic film. When we were going back home there was a tragedy we got scared. As a unperfected day we had robbed by a robber. We went back home very sad, because they stole our cell phones and wallets. My mother packed my bed and I slept. My colleagues went home because the next day would be over. When we arrived at school we told everybody what happened that day. DANIEL 8º ANO	One night I was at my friend's house when we heard a sound coming from somewhere in the house. We went to sleep without checking from where the sound came. We were very afraid. I went to sleep, but the sound had not stopped yet. It seemed to have someone else in the house. We thought about calling the police, but the phone was in the kitchen. We thought that it would be our end.  Now convinced we decided to look who was making that noise. When we were going to the room, we saw traces of blood on the floor, we were more afraid. It was our surprise when we saw that the cat from her mother had caught a bird, we laughed a lot and went to sleep. LUCAS 8º ANO

WRITTEN BY STUDENTS - WHAT I WOULD DO AT SCHOOL

Imagine what you would do… If I were in charge of my school, the library would open every day. We would have an encourage program of reading, and we’d work with books that talk about some subjects, as history, geography and Portuguese. I think during the science classes, we should go more to laboratory to do experiences and learn in a dynamic way. I’d change the canteen to be more organized. The physical education classes would be better than today, and we could practice all the sports and learn about it, and about the countries from where they came.  If I were in charge of my school we’d have more outdoor classes. In my opinion the direction would be nearest of the students, and then they could give their opinions. All rooms would have air-conditioned. I think we should have regular computer classes, and we should do more projects with physical and math teachers. We’d have sixth classes from sixth grade, and tutoring if it was necessary. I’d like the Passionista was a school campus, so we could have fun and know us better. Rayza, 9° ano	My school is pretty cool, but I think we can improve more. The library could stay open all day long, the students should not only learn in the classroom but, also outside the rooms. I think we should have more educational tours.  Teachers do not have much to say, but I have some idea what I do not speak, but I understand others. I think books could be better, because every time when I have a doubt I search it on the computer. We could have educational events such as the science fair, opening of the Olympics, a party day for the younger children. Everything thought to improve and grow up my school. Most of it unfortunately we cannot see there, we need more improvements and we would like to start changing. Lohanny 9º ano	I wish we rebuild the bathroom and have more snacks in the canteen. We should practice more different sports. I would like to have more holidays, be safe at school, having new things, take more classes to computing. We should have outdoor classes. I think the school has to change. We might have larger classrooms with Air conditioning. They might increase recreation reduce school snack, and also teachers might be patients with new students and also they should have more resources in English in order to improve the language. Students should study hard rather than just doing exercises and tests in class. Coordinators are great, I really like them. All teachers are graduated, they are very good. I'm new to the school and I do not regret it because I have new friend now. I have been learning more. I study in a very nice school. Milena 9º ano	In my opinion the school is a good place to go, but something could change, even as more dynamic classes out of school or even inside us, as going to the science lab. I would like to continue the relationship that teachers had with students as if we were friends, it becomes the classes more interesting. I also would want to have places to enjoy, something for students to enjoy during breaks. But even if these changes never happen in my school I will consider it a good place to go , to see friends and to meet new things every day.  By: Mariana 9º ano.	Imagine what you would do... I really like my school, but, I think something can improve. If I were in charge of my school, every day there would be class until 12:20 p.m., since the 6° grade until the high school. However, I think the uniforms aren't necessary, we would can use normal clothes. The library should be opened every day, and we should go there more times, and in the science lab, too. My friends and I were watching a horror movie at home, when suddenly we heard a noise in the yard. We looked out the window, everything was dark. We saw a man, everybody was hidden by a flashlight. I called my older friends to go back home to see who was in the yard. When they arrived, I opened the door for them. They did not recognize the guy. When I went to see who it was, I recognized my uncle and he was looking for something, After the police arrived, I was very upset and scared. DAVID  8º ANO	Last night, my friend Mateus and I were at a party, we heard a very strange noise. We went to see what it was. We did not see anything strange. After half an hour we heard the same noise. Everybody in the party saw a person in the bush, I called the police and it caught the man who was in the bushes. when we realized he was the master of the party. William 8º ano	Last night I was sleeping in my bed, when suddenly I heard a noise very strange. So, I got up and went to see what it was, but at that time there was a man who got inside my house, he was tall, and very strong. Suddenly he threw me against the wall and, but I practiced karate for many years in academia so I picked him up from the ground, and threw him on the floor and he surrendered. I called the police and the police arrested him! Five years later he was released, and he came after me, but he would not see me, and he did not see me in those five years. I traveled to the United States and I lived there for 80 years, but he found me. So I tried to run but he managed to hold me, but many people saw us on the street and they called the police and he was sentenced to life imprisonment! RODRIGO 8º ANO
Yesterday afternoon, my friend Hellen and I went to the mall to see a movie. The movie was horror. We were very frightened by the movie, because it was about a man who chased two girls. We left the theater in fear of everything and everyone; we got a taxi to go back. We suspect the taxi driver, And he would take us to another place, we jumped out of the taxi, we ran and walked home. On our way, a man was walking behind us. We called the police and we said that a man was following us. The police arrived and said that we had gone crazy. At the end of it we realized it was our illusion. EDUARDA 8º ANO	Yesterday afternoon, my friend and I were watching a horror movie around 16:00. Suddenly we heard a noise in my house. We were frightened, scared and we decided to call the police. After the police arrive we realized it was a cat jumping in the middle of the leaves. The police left our house and we were a little afraid to see the movie again. So we decided to make a snack. After twenty minutes of film we could not watch anymore, so we went to the street. LUANA 8º ANO	One  day,  I was sleeping , and I heard a very loud noise ,when I went to see what it was, an outlaw  was trying to enter my house. My father jumped out the window and went after the guy and I called police, I was too scared I locked myself in my room, cover me in order to not see the thief. My grandfather suddenly shouted: the thief is going up, I locked myself in the restroom and I did not come out until my dad caught the thief. When my brother came home he decided to chase the guy with his bike running toward the thief, he got him but he did not fight. He took the thief to the police. I went back to my room I lay down on my bed and went back to sleep. That day was unforgettable. I did not see thief anymore and I was happy with it. That was an adventure and terrifying story but it already passed. VITÓRIA 8º ANO

WRITTEN BY STUDENTS - SUGGESTIONS FOR SCHOOL

Imagine What would you do … If I were in charge, I would change the few time and add more minutes of recess, in order to play ball and everything. I would put lower price on food in the canteen. We would make more trips, take the sixth period, and leave the library open every day. We should have more sports, singing the anthem at least one day a week, and a  free time for students to watch the World Cup. Filipe 9° ano	Imagine what you would do… I think my school could have more things to enjoy as activity cards, and also the library could have more computer rooms. Coordinators should open the library at break time for students interested in studying. For sure we would like the school. They would do tours for studies somewhere outside, in the city. Those suggestions would improve the classrooms performance. LUAN 9º ANO	Imagine what you would do… In my opinion the school should have a better infrastructure with air-conditioners. In my opinion there are many good teachers, maybe 1 or 2 are not pretty good. The playground should be separate from the parking place for spending recess in good places. Imagine what you would do ... If I could change something in my school, I would give more time to leisure, get the library open every day and it stayed open longer, the library could have more books, classes begin later because up too early and not pay attention to class because we are sleepy, we could have more classes in the outdoor field, because we have many classroom lessons and gets boring and tiring, I put air conditioning in all the rooms instead of a fan because in the summer is much heat would cause the snacks were cheaper and put more people to meet students in the cafeteria, the school would make this more fun rides for students and for a change the school routine. What would I change in my school? I best put to better student performance computers, as well as adding scientific apparatus in the chemistry room. Also I will also lower the price of salt in the canteen. WELINGTON 9º ANO	What would I change in my school? My school is very nice place but, I don’t like the canteen is very disorganized and the food is a lot of expensive, and we need too hang out to learn more, for example, going to museums. The directors could build one class where we could play a lot of things like chess, pack, etc. The library needs more good books to read. In my schools the library has good books but it doesn’t have the collections. RAFAEL 9º ANO	I would change many things in my school. I would put more rooms for each subject, larger classrooms, air-conditioner classrooms, more resources in English class. So we could produce more interesting and productive classes. I think they should also increase the schedule of recreation and decrease the price of snack. People should treat the watchmen better. Imagine what you would do … In Passionista I think young people need better places to hang out. If I were in charge, I'd do more tours, competitions and Olympiads. I' d make sure each one would have internet access, and a good music system too. I don't think students need to stay at school during breaks. If I were in charge, kids would be able to leave school during breaks. This would be good for students, because it would give them a chance to relax, and it would be good for local businesses to have more customers. In my opinion, everyone needs to work harder to help other people. If I were in charge of my school, I'd ask people to do volunteer work as monitor students. I'd also let them free to visit amusement parks and museums, so more people could enjoy them. By William 9º ano	Imagine what you would do …. Every school sometimes can be good and better, we always have new ideas to improve it, its environment and the people around. My first idea is to have more sports classes. The second is the teachers have more entertainment with students even if they are at the end of the year. The third all classes should have air-conditioner and a comfortable classroom. At night, my cousin and I were talking in my bedroom doing nothing when a very strange noise came from kitchen. My cousin asked me to go down there. Suddenly, a figure appeared in the kitchen. I was afraid. I got up the courage and grabbed a spoon stick and beat that figure. My cousin came down and turned on the light, and I saw my mother very angry. My mother put me grounded for a long time. RAQUEL 8º ANO	Yesterday afternoon Eduarda and I were at my house doing homework. Suddenly, we heard a very scary scream. She was a girl who had just been robbed, she ran very scared, she asked for our help to call the police, but the police didn’t arrive in time and they asked us some information about how the victim was. In the end of everything she thanked us for the help, and the police took her to her house. After that we went in, we were glad to help a person, and we continued to do our homework. HELLEN 8º ANO	Last night my family and I were watching a movie, we were all having fun with the movie. It was when the house lights went out and my dad was looking for what had happened. We heard a very loud noise that came from the gate of our house I looked out the window and I saw a man in our house very far, with a black outfit.  He was trying to open the door of the house, and he was able to open and break the whole house. My whole family was crying with fear and I got the courage and went to see who was there. I went down the stairs with a flip-flop. When I got him in the room I stumbled into him and I started to fight. He was trying to tell me something like: I'm your uncle, you are hurting me. He hit the gate of the house with my bike. I stopped fighting and when I saw that he was my uncle. I took him to our family. They were all scared and I saw that it was not a thief. One day, my family and I went to my grandfather's house to see him. Later that night my dad and my aunt went to the supermarket to buy something to eat and my cousin, my brother, my grandfather and I stayed in the house. Suddenly, my grandfather turned on his car and left the house but he left the garage gate open and it was about 9 o'clock p.m. He left my cousin, my brother and I alone in the house with the garage gate open. We were so scared; we shut all the windows and the doors and stayed inside. One hour later my family returned to my grandfather’s house, they asked why the garage gate was opened and I explained what happened. It was a very cool day indeed, so many adventures that I have experienced and that is just one. Amanda 8º ano	Last night at a party, my friends and I were having fun when something unexpected happened, a young girl was attacked by her ex-boyfriend, and it was already 10:30 pm maybe more. I was all over the world inebriates with a girl who had just arrived at the party, she was a friend of my friend, she was seeking help over there, and nobody was helping her. Then she left the party to seek help on street.  It was too late she could not find anyone on the street. She was walking, and walking until she could find a one lady who was returning from her work. A lady took her to the hospital where she met the doctor. The girl was able to communicate with parents who lived in another country. When her parents read the news, the police managed to catch the bad guy. DANILO 8º ANO	One night I was playing horror games, when I heard a noise. As if it was being destroyed. Something big breaking a steel wall with hands. A thunderous rock, a heavy metal. I called my mother to help me. She decided to call the military police and the navy. As incredible as it sounds, I was not scared. I knew it would not cause problems. My brother was sleepwalking in the backyard.
